CCTV Remote Monitoring in Lincolnshire
Trained operators monitor your CCTV 24/7, 365 days a year, spotting suspicious activity and responding as it happens.

Don’t Just Record an Incident. Respond While It’s Happening.
Protect your home or business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with professional remote CCTV monitoring.
When your premises are unattended, trained operators at an Alarm Receiving Centre watch your cameras for activity that shouldn’t be there.
If someone comes onto your property or moves around where they have no reason to be, the operators respond there and then. They can challenge the intruder through an on-site loudspeaker, contact your keyholder and, where appropriate, alert the authorities.
So instead of reviewing footage the next morning, you have someone watching and ready to act while it’s happening.
The monitoring centre we work with is fully accredited and uses detection designed to tell a person apart from everyday movement, so operators stay focused on genuine activity rather than unnecessary alerts.
Your cameras give you the view. Remote monitoring gives you the response.

CCTV Monitoring For Homes and Businesses Across Lincolnshire
What you want from monitoring depends on what you’re protecting. A family home and a working yard need very different levels of attention.

Monitored CCTV For Homes
Operators watch your home around the clock, or just the hours you choose. If someone comes onto your property, they can issue a live audio warning and call you, your nominated contact or the emergency services.

Monitored CCTV For Businesses
Operators cover warehouses, yards, farms, construction sites and offices, whatever the size. SIA-certified staff investigate every alarm, respond while it’s happening, and give you a full record afterwards.
More About Business CCTVMonitoring That Works For Your Property
Remote CCTV Monitoring isn’t all or nothing. There are a few levels, and the right one depends on your property, the hours it stands empty and what you want to happen if an alert is triggered.
Mobile Alerts
Mobile alerts keep you in the loop wherever you are. If a camera picks up movement, a notification arrives on your phone, so you can open the live view in seconds and see what’s happening for yourself.
Audio Warnings
Audio warnings let an operator speak to whoever is on your property, there and then. Hearing that they’ve been seen is usually enough to move someone on, without anyone having to attend.
Keyholder Calls
Keyholder calls put a trained operator between the alert and you. They check the live footage first, then contact your chosen keyholder if it needs someone on site, so you’re only called when there’s a reason to be.
Police Response
Police intervention is the highest level of response. If you choose this option, we can design your system to meet the requirements for monitored police response, so incidents are handled quickly and professionally.
Certified at Both Ends
SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board) certification means our work is independently inspected against recognised standards.
Our installations are designed and fitted in line with the relevant British Standards, and you get the test results and documentation to prove it.
The monitoring centre is held to the same scrutiny. Representatives from SSAIB and the British Standards Institution inspect it twice a year, and can withdraw its accreditations if they aren’t satisfied.
Its accreditations cover the things that matter for monitored CCTV:
- BS 8418: The standard for detector-activated remotely monitored CCTV, and what most insurers expect of a monitoring station
- BS 5979 Category II: The higher of the two grades for an Alarm Receiving Centre, accredited by the British Standards Institution
- BS 9518: The standard for how alarm signals are processed at a receiving centre
- ISO 9001:2015: Certified quality management
- SIA licensed operators, screened to BS 7858:2019

What Our Clients Say
Frequently Asked Questions About CCTV Remote Monitoring
You may have a few questions before putting your cameras onto a monitored service. We’ve answered the ones we’re asked most often below.
How is remote monitoring different from watching my cameras on my phone?
The app puts you in charge of noticing. That works well until you’re asleep, driving, in a meeting or on holiday with patchy signal.
With monitoring, an operator at a manned centre looks at the alert instead, and only involves you when there’s a reason to. Phone access stays available either way.
How much does CCTV monitoring cost in Lincolnshire?
There’s the setup, which depends on whether your existing cameras and connection can support it, and then a monthly fee for the monitoring itself.
The monthly figure is driven by:
- How many cameras are being watched
- The hours they’re watched for, and
- What you want the response to be.
We’ll give you a fixed written quote after the survey.
Won’t it be triggered constantly?
It shouldn’t be, and if it is, something needs adjusting. Modern cameras classify what they see rather than reacting to any change in the picture, so cats, rain and headlights can be filtered out.
We spend the first week or two after installation tuning detection around what actually happens on your property. That period is included, not extra.
Can the police be called?
Where an incident meets the criteria, yes. Verified alarms, where an operator has seen what’s happening, are treated differently from unverified ones.
A system designed and monitored to BS 8418 can be eligible for a police unique reference number, which is what makes that response possible. We’ll be clear with you about what your property would need to qualify.
Can you monitor a system another company installed?
Often, yes. We work with all the major manufacturers and we’re happy to take on CCTV systems we didn’t install.
What we check first is whether the cameras support reliable on-camera detection. Older analogue cameras generally don’t, and monitoring them tends to cost you more than it gives you. If that’s the case, we’ll say so rather than sell you a service that won’t work properly.
Do I need internet at the site?
You need a stable connection, but it doesn’t have to be broadband. Plenty of the sites we monitor across Lincolnshire run on 4G routers because there’s no line anywhere near them.
We check the signal during the survey rather than finding out afterwards.
What happens if the connection drops?
The centre sees that the system has stopped communicating and follows the agreed plan for it. Your cameras carry on recording locally in the meantime, so nothing is lost from the footage.
Is monitored CCTV allowed under data protection rules?
Yes, with the usual duties that come with any CCTV on a commercial premises. You need a clear reason for recording, appropriate signage, a sensible retention period and a process for footage requests.
We set your system up so that all of that is manageable, and we’ll walk you through it at handover.
What areas of Lincolnshire Do You Cover?
The whole county and the surrounding area, from Lincoln and Grantham down to Stamford and Spalding, out to Louth and the Wolds, and up to Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Monitored CCTV Across the Whole of Lincolnshire
We monitor properties across the whole county. Rural yards around Louth and the Wolds are often a long way from a keyholder, which makes an audio warning on site the most useful thing an operator has. Coastal properties near Skegness and Mablethorpe bring weather that will trigger a poorly tuned system every night. Industrial units and construction compounds around Lincoln, Grantham and Scunthorpe stand empty for long, predictable hours, which is exactly what out-of-hours monitoring is built for.
