CCTV Repair in Lincolnshire
Camera down, app not connecting, or nothing recording? Tell us what’s not working and we’ll diagnose why. We repair CCTV systems, regardless of whoever fitted them.

Getting Your Cameras Working Again
If something’s stopped doing what it should, and you want it fixing, we can help.
Start by telling us what the system is doing, or not doing. We can narrow down many faults over the phone, and some we can put right remotely without anyone travelling out to you.
If we can’t diagnose a fault over the phone, we’ll come and find the cause. We repair home CCTV systems and business CCTV across Lincolnshire, and it makes no difference to us who installed it.
If nothing’s broken and you’d just like the system checked over, that’s a service rather than a repair. See our servicing page.

What Our Clients Say
Faults We’re Called Out To Most
Most CCTV faults come down to a handful of causes. Here’s what people usually describe when they ring, and what’s typically behind it.
A Camera With No Picture
One camera black while the others carry on as normal.
Usually the power supply, a damaged cable run, or the camera itself having reached the end of its life.
The App Has Stopped Connecting
Live view works on site but not from your phone.
Often a changed router, a new broadband provider, or an account that quietly expired without telling anyone.
It Isn’t Recording
Live pictures look perfectly fine, but there’s nothing there to play back.
Typically a failed drive, storage that has filled up, or a recording schedule that’s been altered.
Weather or Accidental Damage
Water in a housing, a camera knocked out of line, or a cable caught by machinery.
Common on coastal and rural sites, and usually straightforward to put right.
How a Repair Works
There’s no charge for the conversation, and we’ll tell you what we think the issue might be before anyone commits to anything.
Describe the Fault
Get in touch and tell us what’s happening. The make of the system, roughly when it went in, and what it’s doing now is usually enough to get started.
Diagnose the Cause
Some faults we can diagnose remotely. Where we can’t, we come out and test the system properly rather than swapping parts in the hope of getting lucky.
We Put It Right
We repair or replace whatever is actually at fault, test it properly afterwards, and make sure you can find and export footage before we leave you to it.

SSAIB Certified Engineers
SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board) certification means our work is inspected by an independent body against recognised standards.
That applies to repairs as well as new installations. If your system is tied to an insurance requirement or supports monitored police response, the repair needs to leave it compliant, not just working again.
We work across the major manufacturers, so an unfamiliar badge on the recorder isn’t usually the obstacle people expect it to be.
Frequently Asked Questions About CCTV Repairs
You may have a few questions about CCTV repairs, so we’ve answered the ones we’re asked most often below.
Can you repair a system somebody else fitted?
Yes, and many of the repairs we do are on systems we didn’t install.
We work across the major manufacturers, so the make is rarely the problem. Where a system is old enough that parts have stopped being made, we’ll tell you that rather than keep charging you to chase it.
How soon can you fix my CCTV?
Get in touch and we’ll give you an honest answer for that week rather than a promise we can’t keep.
If it’s something we can diagnose remotely, we’ll try that first, which sometimes fixes it there and then and always means we arrive knowing what we’re looking at.
Can you fix it without coming out?
Sometimes.
Settings, user accounts, app access and remote viewing problems can often be sorted without a visit. Anything physical, like a camera, a cable, or a drive, needs someone on site.
Will I lose my recordings?
Usually not, and we’ll tell you before we start if there’s any risk to what’s stored.
If the fault is a failing hard drive, existing footage may already be affected, so it’s worth mentioning early if there’s something on there you need.
What if a camera can’t be repaired?
We’ll tell you, and we’ll tell you what it costs to replace.
A single camera can usually be swapped and matched into your existing system without replacing anything else, so one failure rarely means starting over.
Is it worth repairing an older system?
Up to a point.
Once parts are scarce and faults start arriving in twos and threes, repairs stop being good value. We’ll say when you’ve reached that, and set out what replacing it would actually involve so you can compare properly.
Do you repair analogue systems?
Yes.
Older analogue and HD-over-coax systems are still repairable, and plenty are still doing a decent job. If yours is at the end of its life, we’ll say so, and we can often reuse the existing cable if you decide to upgrade.
What if the system is still under warranty?
Tell us who installed it and roughly when.
If it’s likely still covered, you may be better off going back to them first. We’ll say so rather than charging you for something you could have had put right for nothing.
Still Have Questions?
If you still have questions, get in touch, and we’ll talk you through the options with no pressure either way.
Repairing CCTV Systems All Over Lincolnshire
We repair systems throughout the county, and where you are shapes what tends to fail. Salt air near Skegness and Mablethorpe works its way into housings and fixings. Exposed rural sites around Louth and the Wolds see more storm and wildlife damage. Town-centre systems in Lincoln and Grantham tend to fail on age and traffic film rather than weather. Tell us where you are and what’s happening, and we’ll take it from there.
