CCTV Servicing & Maintenance in Lincolnshire
Checked, cleaned and tested, so your CCTV is as reliable as the day it was fitted. Includes systems fitted by somebody else.

A Serviced CCTV System is a Reliable One
Regular servicing keeps your CCTV doing the job you bought it for, whether that’s your home CCTV or business CCTV.
It’s a straightforward visit. We go through it camera by camera, checking focus and coverage, playing footage back, and confirming the recording and retention settings still match what you need.
Most of what we adjust is small. A lens that needs cleaning, a camera that’s drifted off its mark, a setting that might have changed since the system was installed.
If something has already stopped working, that’s a CCTV repair rather than a service, and we do those too.

What Our Clients Say
What CCTV Servicing Covers
A service is a working list rather than a look around your site. We run the same checks whether you’ve got four cameras or forty. Anything we can put right on the day, we do. Anything bigger, you’ll know before we leave, along with what it would take to fix it.
Cameras and what they can see
Focus, lens condition, cobwebs, and where each camera is pointing. Hedges grow, and buildings change, so a camera aimed at a gate two years ago may not be now.
That cameras are recording
Every camera, all the way through to the recorder, checked by playing footage back. A live picture on screen doesn’t prove anything is being written to disk.
Storage & retention
How far back your system goes, and whether that matches what you think it does. Drives get full, settings change, and retention can change over time.
Time & date
Clocks drift. If you ever hand footage to an insurer or the police, a timestamp that’s twenty minutes out makes it considerably harder for anyone to rely on.
How it performs in the dark
Infrared, lighting and glare, checked at the sort of light levels the system will really face. Most cameras are at their weakest exactly when you’re not there.
Logins, users and firmware
Who can still get into your system, whether anyone’s left since it was set up, and whether the firmware has had anything important released for it.

SSAIB Certified Engineers
SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board) certification means our work is inspected by an independent body against recognised standards.
It covers maintenance as well as installation. If your system supports monitored police response, or your insurer has taken an interest in it, the servicing needs to hold up as well as the original fit.
You get a written record of each visit, what we checked, what was adjusted, and anything we’d suggest keeping an eye on.
Frequently Asked Questions About CCTV Servicing
You may have a few questions about CCTV servicing and maintenance, so we’ve answered the ones we’re asked most often below.
Can you service a system you didn’t install?
Yes, and many of the systems we service are ones we didn’t fit.
We work across the major manufacturers, so the make usually isn’t the obstacle. If a system can’t be supported any more, we’ll tell you that rather than keep charging you to patch it.
How often should I have my CCTV serviced?
Annual works for most sites.
Six-monthly makes more sense if the site is busy, coastal, dusty, or if you’re relying on the system for monitored response. We’ll give you a straight recommendation rather than pushing you to the shorter interval.
Do I have to sign up to a contract?
No. Plenty of customers only call us when something needs looking at and leave it there.
That said, some commercial insurance policies require the system to be maintained under a regular service arrangement. If yours does, a schedule isn’t really optional. If it doesn’t, it’s entirely your call.
Is my system too old to be worth servicing?
Sometimes.
Parts stop being made, and there’s a point where maintaining an ageing recorder costs more than it returns. We’ll tell you when you’ve reached it, along with what replacing it would actually involve.
Will servicing satisfy my insurer?
It often helps, though it depends on what your policy asks for.
Keeping a written record of each visit is the part that usually matters, and you’ll have one whether or not anyone ever asks to see it.
Still Have Questions?
If you still have questions, get in touch, and we’ll talk you through the options with no pressure either way.
Servicing CCTV Systems All Over Lincolnshire
We service and repair systems throughout Lincolnshire. Where you are makes a difference to the challenges your system faces. Salt air near Skegness and Mablethorpe is hard on housings and fixings. Rural sites around Louth and the Wolds collect dust, cobwebs and insects on lenses. Town-centre cameras in Lincoln and Grantham have to cope with traffic film and glare. Wherever you are, it’s the same visit and the same written record at the end of it.
